The Hazze is an alternative rock band from Kuching, Malaysia, crafting a raw yet atmospheric sound that resonates deeply with listeners. Founded and fronted by Ezzah — lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter — the band is completed by Saren on drums, Cimi on bass, and Arel on lead guitar.

Blending alternative rock, noise-pop, and grunge-gaze textures, their music shifts between gritty distortion and haunting ambience. Drawing influence from the noise experimentation of Sonic Youth, the immersive haze of My Bloody Valentine, the dreamy atmosphere of DIIV, the groove-heavy punch of Queens of the Stone Age, the crushing yet ethereal dynamics of Deftones, and the raw emotional intensity of Hole, The Hazze creates a sound some listeners describe as haunting and hypnotic.

Although they have yet to release an official single or EP, the band has built a strong presence in the local underground scene. Their live set regularly features five unreleased tracks — “Kissing Euphoria,” “She Got You All Night,” “Borderline,” “Halfway To Goodbye,” and “5sqft” — offering a first glimpse into their evolving sonic identity.
